how fast does this go
Asked by Fenton Birch on 10th September 2018

We'd estimate around 25-30mph or so.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi, How long would the run time be on a standard charge? Thanks Sean
Asked by Sean Benford on 14th November 2018

On the stock 1800mah battery we'd expect around 10 minutes or so.

On a 3000mah, around 15-20 minutes, and around 30+ mins on a 5000mah battery.

Hello, I have got a maverik strada mt v2 and was looking to possibly upgrade the motor/ esc, preferably to brushless, I just wanted to know what you could recommend for these. If possible I would like to not have to solder anything and not to spend too much over £85, and to finish :) would I need to change servos at all. Thanks in advance.
Asked by Sam on 28th May 2019

Sure - so a basic upgrade for that kind of budget would be say ET0420.

Something a bit better would be say ET0425.

The servos will still run fine if you change the motor/ESC

Hi, I am trying to decide between this car or the brushless version? Is the brushless version much faster for the price difference?

The brushless versions are quicker yes, but they are a little more cash.

Hi. I was curious, what Lipo batteries can the Strada MT brushed take from stock? I'm interested in buying but don't know what size will fit in the battery compartment and what the minimum discharge rate is?

2S would be your max and ideally a round case.

EG say C-49440 or HPI-101941

Hi, I am looking to buy this for my 7 year old with birthday money he has saved up... Two questions 1. Is an extra battery likely to be necessary for light recreational use 2. I'm worried about longevity and maintenance as I'm a layman not looking to take up a hobby as a mechanic - is it likely to require much upkeep? Thanks Graham
Asked by Graham on 7th September 2022

A second battery is advisable as the runtime is around 15 minutes , or a fast charger or the combo with both would be good , repairs wise they come with a full manual and all parts are available but with all these hobbies repairs are going to be down to yourself .
