can I use this battery on a Sand Scorcher my wife purchased from you for my Christmas pressie?
Asked by Ferris on 26th December 2016

Yes that would fit fine in a Tamiya Sand Scorcher as it's a standard sized battery pack.

Would this battery pack fit in a 'maverick strada Xt' And if so how long would the battery life last roughly
Asked by Scott on 23rd May 2017
Yes, this would fit fine in the brushed Strada XT. Runtime would be around 25-30 mins depending on driving style.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

so long as we have the right connecter, and is nimh, 7.2v would 5300 mah fit any car.
Asked by Oakley on 19th October 2018

Yes, this will fit most 1:10 cars no problem - it's a standard size pack and will give longer runtime than smaller capacity packs.

what is the run time on this battery?
Asked by Daniel Mullan on 20th May 2023

Runtimes are not quoted on batteries as there are too many factors , gearing, wheels size, motor, esc, surface its run on weight of car etc.

This is the biggest runtime Nimh for 7.2v that we stock though.

Will this fit and work in an original 1987 Tamiya Vanessa's Lunchbox without any changes to the model?
Asked by Simon on 23rd May 2023

No this will be slightly too big due to the Mah you would need something like this SCH-EP3000S

How long would it last in a Tamiya monster beetle
Asked by Scott Davidson on 21st January 2024

Run times are nbot quoted on batteries usually as this is depending on gearing, surface its run on, motor turn, temps etc but 5300 is about the biggest you will get.
