Very good esc other than the time it takes the build-in ubec to power on the receiver, it takes too long and you will miss the time to be able to calibrate the throttle end points. I have found on the 2 of these I now have, I had to remove the red+ wire from plug going to receiver and plug an external ubec into the receivers bind/batt port to get the receiver powered up before trying the calibration steps so that I have full forward/brake/reverse otherwise getting the cars to reverse was very hit and miss. Just make sure to remove the red+ wire otherwise you will kill your receiver with to higher voltage and then put it back once done and running of just the esc for power.

Yes it would but there will be no benefit its just overkill as the motor can still only run 3s lipo maximum.
