1:32 'Shidenkai no Maki' Kawanshi N1 K2-J SHINDENKAI (George)

Originally a sub-par floatplane, the N1K excelled when engineers deleted the float, upgraded the engine, and lowered the wings to create the N1K2-J. It was universally considered to be one of the finest dogfighters of WWII with the speed, maneuverability, and heavy armament necessary to take on all Allied fighters. That's why it is a top choice for favorite fighter at the academy in "Shidenkai no Maki" where school girls battle it out in WWII warbirds.
