This is an optional Team Durango Vented Shock Cap, and is intended for use with the Durango DNX408. The vented shock cap allows air to move in and out of the area above the shock diaphragm. This offers more consistent damping, especially during long runs on rough terrain. These should be used with a foam compensator which is placed above the diaphragm before installing the cap onto the shock.
