hi will this engine fit in my 2003 tamiya tgs nitro i need a replacement engine thanks chris
Asked by Chris Gledhill on 11th March 2020

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that chassis so can't confirm 100%... However these are standard fitting, so if your engine mounts on the flanges (rather than bolting directly to the chasssis), then yes you should be able to get this to fit.

can you recommend a exhaust for this engine and what fuel mix should it have?
Asked by Jj on 29th November 2020

Exhaust is dependent upon your chassis... but some suggestions would be say TRX5490 or HPI-86909

      Fuel we'd usually run 16% or 20% eg OP100

does this come with a glow plug?
Asked by Jonty on 3rd December 2020

No you would need to buy a glow plug for this engine, a normal medium plug would be spot on.
