Amazing starter box! Tried the Fastrax King FAST555 box but couldn’t get on with it for my XB8. This box has more than enough power and a smaller diameter wheel allowing it to reach the flywheel without hitting the chassis of the car. The engine doesn’t get stuck at TDC anymore, far better build quality too. Using the 12v lead acid battery.
Yes it will do. However we'd probably go for somthing a little more 'beefy' for something that size, such as the FAST555 king starter box.

Yes that should work OK

In theory, yes - however for a big engine like that I'd look at the heavier duty FAST555 king box

They are just a different design of box, the power start has some different brackets to hold the car and looks like you can change the motor round depending on if your engine is mounted inline or tranverse.

We have not started one of those on the starter but yes when you push down it engages the power and the base lowers.

Yes it will but we would recommend this one FAST555
it is acutually more powerful and the only one that is really good for 1/8 buggies.

That will work with 7.2v nimh batteries or a 12v gel cell battery it will not work with lipo batteries.

This can run on 2x tamiya connector 7.2v Nimh or a 12v gel cel battery

We cannot guarantee it will fit without filing the holes the only one that will 100% work is this K.36209
