Is it a working scale rocket, or is it a highly detailed kit? Well, it's both! Back by popular demand, Estes' Saturn V is a 1:100 scale Skill Level 4 kit that was scaled from official NASA drawings to create a model that's second to none! Standing over 1 metre tall, this is one impressive spacecraft!

This reissue now features precision laser cut centring rings and a moulded Apollo capsule, escape tower and main engine display nozzles that remove easily for flight. This is a modeller's rocket and will require building and finishing, with many detailed parts and markings. At the end, you'll have a showpiece that can be proudly displayed and will be an instant talking point.

Launched using a D12-3 Estes rocket motor, Saturn V will climb to 150 feet before being recovered by a combination of two 61cm and one 46cm parachutes - so even the return to earth looks scale!

Saturn V requires a launch system; (launch controller and launch pad), rocket motors, igniters and recovery wadding to operate. Also requires an Estes MaxiT Launch Rod (D-ES2244).
