Irvine 40 ABC R/C MkIV

The Irvine engine range has evolved again, but this time there's a difference... The latest engines are now manufactured by O.S. to an Irvine design!! By maintaining the successful design concept of their
predecessors, the Irvine 40 ABC MkIV maintains the Irvine tradition, but has been able to adopt some new technology into the designs. There's now the latest multi-layer, ringless piston/liner design, a simplified and lighter C40H carburettor, which still provides accurate and progressive throttle response, plus a modified and improved crankshaft.

We have totally re-thought the bore/stroke ratio to gain maximum performance and it is this attention to detail and development that keeps Irvine engines at the forefront of model engine design.
We have retained the effective silencers from the previous designs but with slightly modified dimensions to optimise the combination of power and noise. All these improvements are the result of consumer feedback and extensive testing. We constantly try to improve our designs to suit the
ever-changing customer requirements without sacrificing production quality. With O.S. actually manufacturing the engine and handling all production, you can be sure of that.
