The Hirobo Chinook is not just a re-design of the old Vertol, it is a completely new machine. Gone are the mechanical mixers, you now have a state of the art electronic mixer unit controlling the complex operation of the twin rotor heads. This unit also provides the three axis gyro stabilisation, so no extra gyros are needed. This is supplied as standard in the kit.
The Chinook now requires a 50 class engine such as the OS 50SX-H and a silencer sytem to suit is supplied in the kit. To absorb this power there is a new clutch system and rotor blades.
The fear of operating a complex machine is now gone and the most effort you will be need is painting the lightweight FRP body.
