Rarely does one model earn all three of those descriptions but the Great Planes Cessna 182 is no ordinary ARF .It only takes 15-20 hours to assemble, but is built even better than most kits.

Skillfully designed structures come prebuilt of strong, lightweight woods.

The generously sized radio compartment allows easy on board gear installation and scale detailing. Each wing has its own aileron servo – which shortens and simplifies linkages and speeds and strengthens response.

The hardware installed is Great Planes' own, and the convenience parts – Hoerner-style wing tips, cowl, tail cone and wheel pants – are formed of long lasting fibreglass, not plastic. Most are pre-painted in 3 colours to match the trimcolour MonoKote trim scheme – which accents the Skylane's sport-scale looks without requiring any workbench time. Airfoil shaped struts and supplied fairings enhance the Skylane's aerodynamic profile.
