The Mitsubishi A6M Zero is probably the most well-known fighter of the Imperial Japanese Naval Airforce. At the time of entry into service, the Zero's high maneuverability made it vastly superior to its opponents, but as the war progressed this changed, and it could no longer stand up to the continually improving US Navy aircraft. Just like our other Select Scale Warbirds, the Zero is distinguished by excellent flight characteristics and outstanding appearance. Naturally this Warbird just has to have a sturdy undercarriage, and even the flaps and drop tank are not missing.
