Designed for low traction dirt tracks the new Cougar KD raises the bar again. After a great performance at the European Off-Road Championships in Spain the KD prototype proved its pedigree. Both cars qualified for the ‘A’ Main, with Michal Orlowski finishing 3rd on the podium. The KD has the adjustability to be set up perfectly, from loose dirt to hard packed clay tracks as well as other low grip surfaces. Whether tight and twisty or open and flowing.

We believe it was a Core RC tyre, which is unfortunately no longer available.

Hi there .
Looking at the cougar kd and the lay down version for some novice dirt racing ... been indoors racing minis all winter and am looking to get my first( for a long time) outdoors buggy . Had a schumacher pro cat back in the day so want to scratch that itch , but want something 2 wheel drive ... I'm sure the differences are negligible for someone of my caliber but wanted to know what they were .

Schumacher Cougar KD - i think the kit doesnt come with tyres and inserts? can you recommend front and rear tyres as pictured in product photo and i'll order. do you do next day delivery?

So any 2WD front and buggy rear tyres should fit.
Some popular choices would be say U6824 on the front and U6826 on the rear.
Foams we'd use CR689 on the front and CR687 on the rear
Tyre glue whilst we're here - go for TGLUE
