This release from Lindberg offers a classic muscle car, the 1967 Oldsmobile 4-4-2. Introduced in 1964 the “4-4-2†was an option package which later became a model its own right from 1968 to 1971. The “4-4-2†name derives from the original car’s four-barrel carburetor, four-speed manual transmission, and dual exhausts. The W30 engine option added an outside-air induction system (admitting cool air to the carburetors via tubing from the front bumper), which required the battery to be moved to the trunk.
This model kit is loaded with details like chrome trim, rubber tires, water slide decals and pictorial instructions.
