1:48 Nakajima Ki43-I Hayabusa 'Oscar' - 1st Flight Regiment
In the tight-turning dogfights of WWII, Allied pilots frequently mistook the Ki-43 for the Zero. This mistake could have lethal consequences. Though lightly armed and unarmored, these aircraft tallied numerous victories. Their maneuverability made them dangerous opponents but necessitated a total absence of armor. This, coupled with their lack of self-sealing fuel tanks, made them relatively easy to destroy-if you could keep them in your sights.
