How much faster would this Rd car be if I put a 2S lipo in it?
Asked by Harry on 2nd January 2017

Depends on your LiPo, but 2S LiPo over NiMh should give around another 5mph top speed and quicker acceleration.

If I put a powerful brushless system in it how well would it stand up to the abuse and would it wheelie a lot many thanks
Asked by Josh on 9th July 2018

Bear in mind this is an entry level vehicle, so whilst there was the BLX brushless version which runs pretty much the same drive train, putting a hot brushless sytem in this is likely to put extra strain on the drivetrain...

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

How fast is this out the box
Asked by Jason on 18th July 2018

Around 30+ mph

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

what is the charge/run time of this and do you do spare batteries for it.
Asked by Me on 26th July 2018

The stock 2000mah NiMh battery should last around 15mins or so and take around 6 hours to charge on the standard trickle charger.

If you upgrade to a 5000mah battery, runtime should be 30+ minutes, and a fast charger would charge in just under an hour.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

does the raider XL body shell fit the standard raider.
Asked by Me on 28th July 2018

I don't believe so - the XL is larger.
