Yes, 40A is recommended for the Radian XL so this should work fine.

Hi there. Will this esc be ok to use in the eflite Valiant. The esc in it has just gone up in smoke. I see you have the original part available but wanted to know if I use this one instead. Regards. Keith.
Asked by Keith Barnes on 10th September 2019
The stock E Flite Valiant ESC is EFLA1030B which is a 30Amp unit.
So yes, this 40Amp unit is higher rated, so should work fine :-)

Hi will this esc be enough to use on a 4s set up please ?
Asked by Paul Mullen on 23rd September 2019
There's a lot more variables that need to be known to advise fully on that...
However, it's probably a no - we'd recommend going up to at least a 60A

Hi
I have the Eflight PT17 with the standard 45 Amp ESC (EFLA1140W) installed. The battery recommended for this aircraft is a 3S 2200. Will the standard ESC cope with a 4S battery please?
Thank you
Steve
Asked by Steve on 2nd May 2021
I can't get a definitive answer on this, but would suggest it'll be 3S max on your setup.
