hi does this esc have instant reverse? so no delay from full throttle forward to full throttle backwards

I can't be 100% sure but no - I don't think so.

I have not known any esc for long time with instant reverse as it can lead to failures.

I know this can be set up to forward and brake or forward and reverse, but normally you have to brake first then get reverse.
