Around 6-7 hours to charge. Around 10 minutes runtime, depending on your driving style.
Fast chargers will charge the battery in around 1 hour, and high capacity batteries are also available.

would like to ask two questions about this car
First if I was to get the race package would I get charged for P&P for delivery as it is over £100
and second can this car drive through mud and puddles as it is for a 10 year old who wants to up grade to something a little more professional

The electronics are waterproof, so yes the odd splash through puddles should be fine. Bear in mind no R/C is designed to be submerged for long periods of time though.

The stock battery will last around 10 minutes or so depending on your driving style. Larger capacity batteries will last much longer.

The ECX Amp MT and buggy are based on the same platform. The buggy will handle a little better due to lower centre of gravity whereas the truck will be able to cope better with rougher ground and bigger jumps. It's up to you to decide which would work best for your situation!
