Several versions of the B-17 served throughout WWII, the B-17G being among the most heavily armed. It was the primary bomber used to conduct daylight strategic bombing contributing to the ultimate defeat of Germany. This new kit features markings and “nose art” representing “Mercy’s Mad House” operating with the 303rd bombing group of the USAAF 8th Air Force plus optional markings for a second USAAF aircraft also assigned to the 8th Air Force in WWII.
