Does this work with the old Receiver/ESC? Or only with the new receiver/ESC

I have a maverick ion xt, it's receiver is not getting on , when I switch it on the light just blinks once and then goes dead , I have also replaced batteries but it's not working , pls help

Bit hard for us to say without seeing it.... It could possibly be that it just needs re-binding. Or it may be that the receiver unit is dead.

Will a Maverick Mtx-248 2.4Ghz 2Ch Ion Transmitter work with the older ion mt rtr truck

As far as I'm aware these only bind to the MV28101 MRX-248 2-in-1 unit

Sorry but no they are not all interchangeable - you'd need to run a receiver that matches the transmitter you buy.
