The Maverick iON kits lead the way with fantastic brand new top-spec features: a Maverick Element 1200mAh Ni-MH battery, MTX-248 2.GHz radio and a 2-in-1 waterproof MSRS-248 receiver/speed controller.
The motor fitted in the Maverick iON XB is the reliable MM-28 370-size motor, bolted to an aluminum motor mount for extra drivetrain durability and improved heat dissipation, so drivers can keep having fun for hours and hours! The 4WD drivetrain uses ball bearings throughout to give drivers maximum runtime and efficiency, and features a molded gear cover to keep dirt and debris away from the gears. Front and rear gear differentials easily transfer the motors power to durable driveshafts and finally to the grippy rubber wheels at all four corners.
The Maverick iON XB features a complete set of gold-colored shock caps for the oil-filled shock absorbers. Top speed isn't quoted, but we'd estimate around 20mph or so - quite nippy for their size!

The stock MV28103 is the biggest battery that will fit these. It should still give around 15 mins runtime and is reasonably priced, so you can have a couple of spares if you choose.

If you have a strada, then the Ion is quite a bit smaller, so no your batteries would not fit.
Why not look at the 1:10th Strada XB instead? MV12613 and then your batteries would be compatible.

Both are good cars, you wouldn't be disappointed with either.
However, putting budget aside - the Vantage is 1:10, so that gives you more options for places to run and easier to upgrade with standard size electronics.
