SCHELLE B44.3 ALUMINIUM CHASSIS SETSchelle Chief Engineer Kurt Wenger took the lessons learned from the B44.2 Shorty Conversion and applied them to the newest Associated 4wd platform. After testing the kit B44.3 with the team, Kurt noticed several trouble areas that drivers were experiencing in the corners. The Schelle 44.3 was developed to transform the B44.3 in shorty configuration. The reduced length has 2 main effects, the first is that the car is much more fluid and easy to drive in the turns. The combined shorter wheelbase and increased rear weight bias stop the rear and front from fighting each other in the turns, and the car will follow a smooth arc without breaking loose. Secondly, the short wheelbase and increased weight bias aid in more traction on power and exiting corners. After getting through the turn, it's easier to pick your line on exit and put the power down.
The servo mount holes are pre-drilled for both left hand and right hand servo installation. This allows racers to run the electronics layout of their choice.
