As many of you may already know, we at Rooster Tail Engines design, modify, and enhance standard and performance RC components for extreme output and reliability.
Our engines are modified to deliver nearly 3x the output in the full mod range and our performance modified carburettors enhance engine output, run cooler and remove the need for annoying shaft replacements and carburettor throttle shaft bore failures.
Our high performance versions of the standard Zenoah clutch, Elcon and Lauterbacher 4 shoe clutches, took sand dune racing to a new level, with no heating issues and no fading.
We have now taken clutch systems to the next level with our new RT Ultra Clutch System.
Designed to withstand the rigorous outputs of the big bore motors (up to 46cc), this clutch has been tested for 10 months in the searing heat of the Western Australian sand dunes with outstanding results.
Simple and easy to install, with components we are all familiar with.
When fitting this system to your stock or performance engine, you will notice huge and consistent gains in acceleration.
The system is capable of high slip and high bite to unleash your engines torque potential time after time.
The engagement point is set to 8,500rpm. Shoe sets with different engagement points will be available soon.

This system will function in an enclosed carrier, although we recommend the use of an open carrier for best results.
