1:18 McLaren 650S GT3, 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed Launch Version
TSM-Model is excited to announce the upcoming release of its newest model, the McLaren 650S GT3 Launch Version as debuted at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The successor to the highly accomplished 12C GT3, McLaren made it a point to enhance just about everything on the 650S GT3 as they look to continue their success on the grid in the coming 2015 GT racing season. With the race ready 3.8L V8 twin turbo McLaren M838T engine, the 650s GT3 produces about 500ps of power, very similar to the 12C, as the output is administered according to FIA regulations. With the majority of the body being dressed in carbon fiber, the updated suspension geometry, added improvements to the aerodynamics, the dips in the side view mirrors, the new front air intakes on the nose of the car, and the new fixed rear wing, McLaren has created a very distinguishable and effective design for the new 650S GT3. With 15 examples scheduled to be built for the upcoming 2015 season, McLaren hopes to secure many victories with the new 650S GT3. The car will serve as the main GT race car for McLaren, with the possibility of even competing in the GTE class at Le Mans.
