The WACO YMF-5D was originally constructed in the 1930’s as a fast passenger and sports biplane, and became very popular, also with numerous flying schools. After a long pause the aircraft was re-engineered, and production began again in 1986. In addition to a stronger fuselage cell and modern materials, the current WACO YMF-5D has been equipped with up-to-date instrumentation and electronics. However, despite the modernisation, she has lost none of her original charm. The model WACO YMF-5D impresses with high quality materials and engineering. This model is a feast for the eyes, with fine details including dummy radial engine and cockpit instrumentation. In the air the Waco is equally impressive, especially when flying classical aerobatics and her high responsiveness to the controls, as expected of a model such as this, increases flying enjoyment!
