The Fokker Dr.1 triplane, biplane Albatros D.Va, Nieuport 17 and S.E.5a, were all classic WWI
fi ghter aircraft. Well-known pilots, including Manfred von Richthofen, Ernst Udet, René Fonck,
James McCudden, Eddie Rickenbacker and many others, fought for victory in these aeroplanes.
The Micro Series models, with their fine detailing and replica painting, reflect the aspects this era.
For the Fokker Dr.1 we chose the typical red Richthofen version. The Nieuport 17 and the Albatros
D.Va carry the colours of René Fonck and 18 Fighter Squadron respectively. The S.E.5a is the
well-known Joseph E. Boudwin version. All of these lightweight, bi-axially controlled models
are defined by their stable flight characteristics and powerful motorisation, so that all can be
flown indoors, as well as outdoors in light wind conditions. Not only that, these classic aircraft
will also look very good in your display case!
