The Lockheed company developed the P-38 Lightning long range escort fighter in 1937. Today, there are only four flying P-38s remaining wordwide. One of these was restored by the Flying Bulls and, based in Europe since 2009, is regularly presented at air shows. Our model is a highly detailed replica of this aircraft, and is of course equipped with a retractable undercarriage.
