Does it give an indication when the battery is low? As the run time is pretty short and I would want to ensure I could always get it back to land. Thanks
Asked by Emilio on 4th March 2017

There is no low voltage alarm, however you can tell when the battery is running low by slower performance.

Hi is this the boat with working light, horn and smoke
Asked by Steve on 24th January 2019

Yes to all three!

  • Led lights in cab an around the wheelhouse
  • Horn is on one of the rear buttons, on the back of the transmitter
  • Smoke generator is housed in the wheel house of the model, and pumps out of the 2 roof stack exhausts!

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Where can I get smoke liquid from and where do I put it in
Asked by Michael Ware on 27th May 2019

We do smoke oil here 4401080

Smoke generator is housed in the wheel house of the model, and pumps out of the 2 roof stack exhausts!

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Will this have the working smoke funnels as with the Richardson version? I like the smoke but prefer the colours on the Southampton. Also can you recommend a battery upgrade for this model as I believe the one supplied is not great. Thanks Nic (looking to purchase the first week of January)
Asked by Nic on 21st December 2019

Yes, these have the smoke function.

VZ0065 is an ideal upgrade battery and should last around 2.5 times as long as the stock 800mah battery
