Carisma M48S - Porsche 959

CARISMA M48S PORSCHE 959 4WD 1/8TH BRUSHLESS RTR

When it comes to scale r/c models Carisma are right up there with the very best and this amazing true scale 1/8th Porsche 959 Rally car is no exception. Modeled on the 959 designed by Porsche to tackle the legendary difficult Paris-Dakar race across the deserts of North Africa, a race that it won in 1986, this model is as faithful a recreation as you will find.

Factory finished the fully licensed bodyshell includes details such as mirrors, wipers, door handles, abs moulded rear wing section, roof lights and pre-applied livery decals. Scale treaded tyres mounted on white 7-spoke wheels make this model tough to distinguish from the real deal.

Underneath the bodyshell, a new M48S shaft driven 4wd platform is used that features front, rear and centre metal-geared differentials to handle the brushless power system. That power, via a sealed transmission is courtesy of a 540-sized 3000kv motor and water resistant speed control, which just needs to be combined with your choice of LiPo or NiMH power source. A water resistant steering servo and receiver box provide the protection for some all weather rallying!

A heavy-duty aluminium main chassis provides the base for the double wishbone, oil shock damped suspension finished off at either end with front foam bumper for protection and rear scale lower diffuser.

If you are a fan of scale, retro, rally and Porsche you are going to love the M48S Porsche 959 Ready Set from Carisma.
