Just ordered a HobbyZone Duet. I'm a complete beginner. Just wondering whether i should have ordered an extra battery charger, extra propellers and spinners? I don't want my flying weekend cut short because I'm missing bits. Or would you say I got everything I need in the package?
Asked by Sam on 3rd August 2017
The plane itself comes with everything you need to get up and running - however you are quite right that it may be a good idea to get some spare EFLB1501S45 batteries andp erhaps some HBZ5308 props

would it support a small camera or other similar small load
Asked by Herbie T on 3rd December 2017
yes we'd imagine a small lightweight camera wouldn't affect flight too much

Just received the Hobbyzone Duet. This is for my grandson, are there any instructions specifically how to fly with the remote control, as there doesn’t appear to be any instructions in the box?
Asked by Simon Barnett on 6th March 2019
These are a basic 3 channel design, so throttle up on the left stick, and steer left/right and up/down on the right hand stick.
There's not much more to it on these!
Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models
How fast does the plane go and what are the measurements .
Asked by Joe on 28th April 2020
They are fairly slow and easy to fly
Wingspan is 523mm

Hobbyzone duet, what is flight range please?
Asked by Mel Short on 28th April 2020
Further than you can see :-)
Should be at least a kilometre or so!
Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models
what is the weight of the plane with the battery inside
Asked by Leo on 22nd June 2020
Not listed I'm afraid... (Although not very heavy from experience!)

2 questions - Can it be flown outside without being affected too much by the wind and do you require a license (in the UK) to fly this outdoors?
Asked by James O on 19th November 2021
You can fly this outside, but the less wind the better as it's a small plane. You won't need a license to fly this outside and due to weight being under 250g you will not need to register this model with the CAA

Asked by Gabriele on 1st October 2023
