• The Adolph Bermpohl was a rescue cruiser of the German Society for the Rescue of the Shipwrecked (DGzRS), named for Adolph Bermpohl, the founder of the idea of an organised maritime rescue system in Germany. It was a cruiser of the 26-m class (Georg Breusing class) and was built in 1965 by the shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen in Lemwerder. The auxiliary boat Vegesack was named for the Vegesack district of the city of Bremen.
• This classic, realistic model was developed based on original documentation of the German Society for the Rescue of the Shipwrecked. The technically interesting design permits numerous variations using add-ons. In addition to the planned equipment, additional functions can be built in as desired. The model is delivered with 3 built-in electric motors, a control servo, and a servo for actuation of the stern hatch. The dinghy is also offered with drive motor and servo. The two models are controlled separately, so that the interesting manoeuvres for lowering the dinghy can be carried out easily, reliably, and safely. The deck superstructure can be removed as a whole. This provides access to all installed devices. The hulls of the dinghy and main model are made of sturdy GRP. ABS and brass parts have been used for the superstructure.
