Commissioned by the Japanese Navy in 1927, this heavy cruiser also served its country throughout much of WWII. It participated in such battles as Coral Sea and Guadalcanal until it was sunk by U.S. Air Force bombers in 1945. Our highly detailed small-scale model version pays tribute to this incredible cruiser and features several newly tooled parts, including "IJN July 1945" markings.
