Used by the Luftwaffe while stationed in Africa, the Bf 109E TROP was modified to withstand stifling desert temperatures. These aircraft featured a different cooling system than their predecessors, with air filters designed to keep sand and humidity from damaging the engine. This limited edition kit features a special paint scheme representing German flying ace Hans Yokum’s aircraft, plus a standing resin figure, a seated resin figure and three sets of decal marking options.
