This model is only available RTF with the radio gear I'm afraid.

Is this plane a good beginner plane and is it durable?
Asked by Jason on 8th June 2017

Yes, this would be ideal for first time fliers.  It's pretty tough - but as with all planes, they are not designed to be crashed! However, a full complement of spares are available.

Is it possible to buy a better battery for longer flight time?
Asked by Peter on 13th November 2017

You could certainly try fitting a larger capacity battery in - however please be aware larger batteries will be heavier, and may affect the centre of gravity. We'd recommend sticking with the stock battery which gives a reasonable amount of flight time in between breaks.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Recommend a better battery and twin charger.
Asked by Rolf Neset on 23rd November 2017

Replacement battery is TGP0372

Twin chargers will be overly expensive for a basic battery such as this, but a decent entry level single charger would be ET0225

If you really wanted a twin charger it would be significantly cheaper to just buy two single chargers!

Does this aircraft have a mode 2 transmitter?
Asked by James on 8th September 2018

Yes.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

What mode is the transmitter?
Asked by Ernest on 9th September 2018

Mode 2 - left hand throttle

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi im looking for a better battery for this model I understand centre of gravity etc just looking at options thanks
Asked by Jason on 7th November 2018

Unfortunately the standard battery is the largest battery we do that will fit into it (or at least, that we can say with conifdence will work well and not affect flight).

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Its says its a 95% kit .. does that mean i need to buy something or just need to build it ?
Asked by Clarkesmadrc on 15th August 2019

No, these are RTF so are 95% assembled, just require the last bit of assembly (i.e popping the wings on, etc).

They include radio, battery, charger, etc - there are no other items required.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

What is the recharge time for the battery please.
Asked by Alan Hill on 2nd June 2020

With the stock charger,  should be around 1-2 hours.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Does this plane have flaps and steerable nose gear?
Asked by Steve on 3rd June 2020

The front wheel is fixed on this item and does not steer.

One set of servos only in the wing, so this model is only fitted with ailerons.

Asked by Darren Baker on 19th October 2020

No, there's no gyro on this model.
