Italeri Jas 39 Gripen

The JAS-39 is the new Swedishmulti-rolefighter presently being delivered to the AirForce. It is underserious consideration by former East-bloc countries, South American countriesand others. The Gripen is one of the most recent European fighters. It is competingagainst the Rafale, the Eurofighter Typhoonand the American F-16s and F-18s ofthe most recent design. This quite elegant and extremely manoeuvrable aircraftis able to use a vast air-to-air missile arsenal as well as air-to-groundmissiles in different roles: interceptor, attack fighter and navy interceptor.
