Could you advise what additional products I need to purchase with this to allow a group to build these rockets? Just glue and engines?

In short - yes, engines are your main requirement - along with glue and basic general tools.
You'd also want a launch pad, so we'd recommend buying a launch set rocket from our range at http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/c/201/ as this would then include the launch pad, controller, etc.
