XRay XB808 Aluminium Chassis Long - Swiss 7075 T6 (3mm) - Hard Coated

CNC-machined long chassis for XB808 made from high-quality Swiss 3mm 7075 T6 aluminum, strategically machined in low-stress areas to make it as light as possible without affecting strength or rigidity. The chassis is hardcoated at XRAYÂ’s own in-house fully robotic hardcoating line, ensuring a perfect hardcoated surface every time.

Non-essential material below the engine, fuel tank, and diffs was removed to allow for the lightest weight and lowest possible center of gravity. The downstop setscrew area has been greatly reinforced, and all screw holes on the bottom of the chassis are countersunk to give a very smooth chassis underside with no protruding screw heads.

The XB808 chassis has been completely redesigned to provide a solid foundation for XRAYÂ’s high-performance off-road racer. All-new weight distribution was integrated into the buggyÂ’s design, with centralized placement of internal parts for improved side-to-side weight balance.

The new longer chassis results in increased stability and improved handling in all different racing conditions. The redesigned weight balance ensures improved jumping and drive through bumpy sections. The refined stability makes the car easier to drive.
