Customers had been asking us for something new for the 3D Storm, but lots of you also told us the design of the original mechanics was near perfect, and that it could withstand any amount of flack that a 3D hooligan could possibly throw at it! The Storm has given large numbers of pilots endless satisfaction over the several years that it has been in production.
In that time, the model has been tweaked here and there to improve it and has developed a reputation as being one of the most reliable and most affordable 400-450 class helicopter models available today!
The advantage of a well-designed fuselage is that it adds to the flight performance aerodynamically—as well as being easier to orientate, more fun and visually more exciting for both pilot and spectator alike.
The access to equipment is neat, convenient and easy thanks to push-on 3-point mounting—in fact, easier than most pod and boom front ends.
The Storm 3DX is pure joy to watch in flight. It’s turbine-like speed and inspiring sound on a fast pass is completely breathtaking and you’ll get a big buzz out of 100ft+ loops, smooth, silky rolls, and it’s gorgeous 3D finesse. The model is available as a factory assembled R/C ready version with digital servos, brushless motor, esc, controls installed (no transmitter or receiver) or as a complete fully factory assembled RTF model equipped with 2.4GHz 8-model memory Twister 6 channel R/C.
