Yes, it comes with a basic instruction set. It's very simple to use though.

Hi I would like to get the Grasshopper and the Etronix Pulse EX2G would I be ready to run if i purchased those two or would i need anything else?

You'd still need a servo, battery and charger to run the grasshopper. We do list some special combos on the grasshopper including everything you need.
